DURING THE 6 WEEK HEALING PROCESS

Wash your hands THOROUGHLY prior to any aftercare procedure

Start applying your ointment after the 3rd day or 72 hours after treatment. Apply a thin layer of aftercare lotion 2 - 3 times per day for 10 days. If washing your brows is absolutely necessary, dampen a sterilized gauze and pat your eyebrows with water (filtered or sterile water is best). DO NOT RUB your eyebrows. Avoid makeup on or around your eyebrows for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Change your pillow case the first day of treatment, you want to keep any bacteria from infecting your eyebrows.

Try your best to stay out of the sun for 2-4 weeks, if you do go outside, you can apply sunscreen after 10 days of your eyebrows healing.

Do not use Retinol A or glycol acids, peroxide or neosporin on your eyebrows for 6 weeks

Avoid sweating or tanning for 10 days. Excessive salt or water can increase swelling.

Do not pick at any dry flaky area during the healing process.

AFTER 6 WEEKS

Continue to minimize sun exposure. A moisturizer with an SPF of at least 25 SPF is recommended to protect the pigment from fading due to sun exposure. Lasers or chemical peels on microbladed/tattooed eyebrows can cause the pigment to turn ashy. Exfoliating & skin lightening products  (alpha & beta hydroxy acids, vitamin A cream or retinol A) will cause the pigment to fade, these products should be avoided on the treated area.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Your lips cannot be dry for the appointment. If they are dry we will need to reschedule and you will forfeit your deposit. You should exfoliate 3 days before your appointment to remove any dry skin. You can use a lip scrub or create your own using a little honey and brown sugar. For the week leading up to the appointment you must moisturize your lips as much as possible, we recommend using Aquaphor healing ointment.

*IMPORTANT*

Cold sores are a risk of Lip Blush Tattoo. If you had a cold sore in the past - we advise you to go to the doctor for an anti-viral medication prior to any lip procedure, to help avoid a outbreak. We recommend all clients to take L-lysine 2 weeks before the appointment and 2 weeks after the appointment to reduce the risk of cold sores, if you are prone to cold sores.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

Lips will feel swollen and very dry after your treatment. Apply ointment on lips several times a day. This should be done for at least 14 days post treatment. Do not allow lips to become dry. This may interfere with healed colour. During the day if lips feel dry, apply a liberal amount of ointment. Just tap on skin and do not rub in.

Always use a clean Q-tip, not fingers to apply ointment to the lips area. This will reduce the risk of infection, especially for the first 5 days.

After lips are no longer tender to the touch they may become flaky. This is normal and is expected. Please do not pick or scratch at them. This may significantly reduce the amount pigment absorption.

Avoid the sun and tanning beds pre and post procedure. Be sure to use a sun block once lips are healed. Do not use any Glycolic, hydroxy or fruit acid products on lips. Avoid direct water pressure, pools and other bodies of water, until healed. You can resume wearing lipstick once lips are healed. Redness, swelling, tenderness, dryness are all common post treatment side effects and will disappear in a short period of time. Avoid oily, salty, acidic foods and alcohol while healing.

Lips are a muscle and may require a touch-up session to complete the process of this procedure. Lips are unpredictable. Some clients will yield very strong healed lip colour. Others will only heal with slight colour uptake. This will vary on an individual basis. Clients with sun damage, scar tissue (from past injuries or fever blisters) and clients with implants may not have strong results.

Hyperpigmentation can happen on any lip client without warning. Follow all before and after instructions after all lip treatments. Lip retouch must be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart from initial session to help with colour retention.

Lips heal in three stages: Too dark - too light - JUST RIGHT! This takes one month to happen. Please avoid any friction to lip area.

SCARLET RF

Sin District Inc

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

Scarlet RF is the safest treatment in the field of RF systems, with little to no downtime and no side effects. For just a few hours after your treatment, redness and a little swelling can be expected, though both should only be mild. Your face might feel warm, like you’ve had a mild sunburn. Basic skin and hair care is all that’s needed in the days after the procedure. Don't forget to use a gentle cleanser morning and night for 5 days. After cleansing we do recommend apply a very thin layer of the Sheald Balm, to help your skin to heal faster. Most patients return to their regular activities immediately following treatment.

For those receiving a scalp treatment, you may feel a slight pulling or tugging sensation for a few days. As with all our medical treatments, a post-treatment care sheet will be provided, along with contact information.

HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE RESULTS?

Some visible tightening results come immediately, and the results of dermal remodeling appear over time as collagen and elastin fibers regenerate. For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in 6 - 8 weeks after your initial treatment. A MINIMUM of three sessions is recommended for optimal results.
